Multiple position to be filled in multiple locations and the salary range provided indicate such. Salary may be adjusted to include a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) of 3.48% for Puerto Rico and 3.74% for the Anchorage, Alaska. JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to perform national/international scientific research work involving studies of host innate and adaptive immune responses to influenza virus infection/vaccination.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Basic Qualifications Requirements: Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR
Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. Minimum Qualifications In addition to meeting the basic qualifications: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience in developing and executing a research program involving biological studies related to infectious diseases.
